You may have noticed that Centro has closed it’s doors at Austin Ranch. We will all have very fond memories of many good times there, but we have some very EXCITING NEWS! There is a new non-smoking Italian restaurant opening it’s doors very soon!

The Veranda Italian restaurant will offer amazing pasta dishes, pizza, antipasti and italian tapas. The chef, Lulzim “Lou” Rexhepi, was schooled at the prestigious Culinary Institue and trained in France before returning to New York City where he garnered critical acclaim for the dishes he turned out at several award-winning restaurants.

And what’s even more exciting for our residents is they will deliver food directly to your door within the Austin Ranch community!!

We will keep you all posted on the grand opening date & look forward to welcoming our newest neighbor to Austin Ranch!

Our monthly resident happy hour is this Thursday at Zen Bar from 6pm – 10pm.  Bring a friend or meet some new ones!

You may have noticed a few things changing around here. Fancy new name! Fancy new leasing center! Fancy new phase! Yep, we are shaking things up!

WHAT’S WITH THE NAME CHANGE?
Austin Ranch is and always has been the name of the 1900 acre masterplanned community that includes Austin Ranch Apartments, Austin Square retail, Austin Ranch corporate offices and Austin Waters single-family homes.

In light of a recent purchase of part of the apartment community, the homes on the southside of Windhaven and in the newest phase are owned and managed by Billingsley Company, and will now be called Thousand Oaks at Austin Ranch.

The homes on the northside of Windhaven (in Phase I & II) are now owned by Invesco, managed by Westwood Residential and will now be called The Flatiron District at Austin Ranch.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT YOU?
The 2 neighborhoods will operate independently of each other with their own leasing center, leasing agents, maintenance teams, websites, Facebook pages, etc., but the residents of both neighborhoods will continue to be able share all the wonderful amenities, pools, parks and gyms throughout Austin Ranch.

Also, both neighborhoods will occasionally join together for events such as happy hours, outdoor concerts or a friendly volleyball tournament.

Not sure what restaurant to book or gift to purchase? Austin Ranch has several restaurants and retailers that would be happy to work with you on catering, lunch or dinner reservations, gift card suggestions and great beverages options to purchase.  The Liquor Cabinet, Classic Nails & Spa, Reinvention Salon, Market on the Square, Lone Star Coffee Bar, Centro Cantina, Café Gecko, McSwiggan’s and Zen, to name a few.

Needing to get some exercise? There is no better place to run, jog, walk or bike than our nature trails at The Ravine or The Thicket. There are also many Hills or Parks to explore. Or gather a group of friends to play a game or two on our outdoor fields, which will surely give you a boost of energy. In case of cold weather, indoor activities include: our Fitness Centers, Pilates Body Shop or Uptown Yoga.

Are you decorating for the Thanksgiving dinner at your apartment? One of the pleasures of autumn is the beautiful foliage that it ushers in. These colors that nature displays in such bright ways are something to take into consideration while decorating your table. Consider the reds, oranges, yellows and browns that the season holds and use them in your decorating. You can even go so far as to purchase some fake colorful leaves to toss around your table.
